Online Practice ACT & SAT Tests with Compass Education Group – Class of 2026
4/27/24 - 5/4/24
The CGO has partnered with the Compass Education Group to offer an at-home, computer-proctored ACT practice test that will be offered on Saturday, 4/27/24. This test matches the current paper/pencil, which is the linear version of the test. Register by 4/25/24.
In addition, Compass Education will also offer our students the opportunity to take the brand new Digital Adaptive SAT offered on Saturday, 5/4/24. This new test mimics the computer-based test — question type, content, timing, duration, and adaptive structure. Register by 5/2/24.
Members of the Class of 2026, if you are interested in either or both of these two online mock tests offered by Compass Education Group, please complete this form to register for the online testing with Compass Education Group.
The mock ACT and SAT exams and corresponding results can help students determine which admission test to focus on when preparing for the official tests in the coming year. Students can review the two results and work with their college counselor to develop a testing and test preparation plan.

1) Complete the majority of your Common Application,
2) Discover more about Scoir and how it will be used during your college application process, and
3) Engage in counselor-led, brainstorming activities designed to jumpstart your summer time and college essay writing efforts.

NCAA Initial Eligibility – Free Webinar for College-Bound Student-Athletes and Families

Are you a student-athlete dreaming of playing your sport at the NCAA level? Invest in your future and spend an hour on Wednesday, May 8, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Eastern time, understanding the requirements and how to prepare for NCAA certification. Join the NCAA Eligibility Center staff, who will walk you through what you need to do to compete at the NCAA Division I, II, or III level. Staff will be answering questions live during the presentation, so come prepared to learn how to take your game to the next level! Click here to register.

Grade 11 Students
We held our “Building Aid Generosity and Affordability into Your School List” workshop with Paul Martin from College Money Method on 3/14/24. This workshop provided grade 11 students and families with resources and tools to research colleges' generosity with need-based aid and merit scholarships. As juniors build their lists, families can understand how a college’s estimated financial aid award matches their needs and plans to pay for college.
